Commercial HVAC Technicians are responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems that control the temperature and air quality in commercial buildings.<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>

<\/div>
  • Inspect HVAC systems and their components (e.g. air conditioning units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, etc.) to evaluate condition, identify necessary repairs and recommend preventive maintenance<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in commercial buildings<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in various HVAC equipment<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Ensure HVAC systems and procedures adhere to laws, regulations, and standards<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Check electrical wiring, thermostats, and distribution systems for any issues<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Provide high\-quality customer service and maintain a professional rapport with clients<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
    <\/span><\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>
    • Proven experience as HVAC technician<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Demonstrated ability to handle and use tools commonly used in the HVAC trade<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Experience with diagnostic and troubleshooting skills<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Current license in trade (HVAC) is a plus<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Ability to work in diverse environments and adverse conditions<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Knowledge of HVAC codes and proper application; knowledge of proper electrical and HVAC safety<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul>
