As an HVAC Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, adjustment, monitoring, and operation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and related equipment at Middletown Airbase. In this position, you will perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all HVAC units and assist in the installation of liquid petroleum and natural gas related equipment. Your duties will include installing new units and component parts, making adjustments, and repairing various types of HVAC systems. You can expect to identify and troubleshoot complex equipment malfunctions, perform diagnostics, and test equipment to ensure functionality. Additionally, you will prepare material lists of assigned jobs, maintain records of work performed and material utilized, and return any unused materials and equipment to stock.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
You must possess an active motor vehicle license.
You must obtain EPA Universal Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification from an approved provider within 6 months of employment.
