Description

Position Summary: We’re seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician II responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC and refrigeration systems, chilled water systems, boilers, and related mechanical and electrical infrastructure. You’ll work independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal system performance, comfort, and safety across the facility environment.

Pay: $32-34 per hour. 

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6AM-2:30PM with Ocassional weekend shift coversage as needed

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems, including ventilation and boiler systems
  • Independently maintains and troubleshoots HVAC systems including RTU's, AHU's, chilled water, and heating.
  • Coordinates with BAS and executes preventative maintenance. 
  • Troubleshoot and calibrate thermostats, burners, relays, transformers, and electrical controls
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs
  • Use trade tools such as multimeters, refrigerant gauges, and hand tools
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation of work performed
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and appliance safety standards
  • Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to junior staff
  • Respond to client inquiries and service requests professionally
  • Support seasonal system transitions and special projects as needed
  • Follow ABM and client-specific safety and operational protocols
  • Intermediate Proficiency In: Independently maintaining and troubleshooting HVAC systems including RTU's, AHU's, chilled water and heating. 
  • Autonomy: Can independently troubleshoot and resolve most HVAC issues; consults for complex or critical infrastructure components (boiler/chiller) work.


Qualifications

Required:
• Must be 18 years of age or older 
• 4-11 years of experience + 1-5 years of onsite experience.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
