Are you an experienced HVAC technician ready to take your career to the next level? We’re looking for a Senior HVAC Service Technician to join a growing, customer\-focused team. You’ll work on a variety of commercial and industrial projects, including hot water systems, DX systems, chillers, and more, across a diverse territory.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

This role balances technical expertise with hands\-on service, and it’s ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while supporting a growing team.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including hot water, DX, chillers, cooling towers, fan systems, VFDs, and low voltage controls<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Conduct equipment inspections, start\-ups, commissioning, and preventative maintenance<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Provide technical training and support to clients and team members<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Identify opportunities for new services and solutions<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Travel within the assigned territory (Dubuque to Waterloo, Burlington, Grinnell, eastern Iowa, western Illinois, Missouri to Minnesota)<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Maintain accurate service records using company laptop and mobile systems<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul>

    Must\-Have:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    • 5+ years of HVAC experience, expertise in hot water, DX systems, chillers, VRV\/VRF, and low voltage controls<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Valid HVAC license and EPA certification<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Strong problem\-solving skills<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Ability to lift 75 lbs and work in confined\/elevated spaces.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • High School Diploma or equivalent <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Valid Driver's License<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul>

      Nice\-to\-Have:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/p>

      • Daikin training, experience with VFDs <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Industrial refrigeration, technical training or certifications beyond high school<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Willingness to travel within assigned territory<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Previous experience in large\-scale commercial or industrial facilities.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
