Position Title: Associate Project Controls Specialist

Location: Houston, TX

Position Description

The Associate Project Controls Specialist shall perform project control activities on specific projects, including essential functions below.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare status reports, project budgets/costs reports, progress measurement reports, and other related activities.
  • Coordinate with Project Manager and Project Team on tracking performance against budget and schedule.
  • Prepare and process invoices on each project and monitor cash flow.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining staffing and manpower plans.
  • Interface with in-house departments and third parties for invoicing and cost tracking purposes.


Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Business-related major
  • 0-1 years Project Controls experience
  • Proficient in MS Excel

Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Work Environment/Physical Demands

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Frequent sitting and operating a computer.
  • Must be able to use body members to work, move or carry objects or office materials.
  • Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
  • Physical demands requirements are at levels of those for sedentary work.
