We are seeking an experienced and reliable Part-Time HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining HVAC systems for commercial customers. This role is perfect for a technician looking for flexible hours and steady, ongoing work.
Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues, including heating, ventilation, cooling, and refrigeration units
Perform routine maintenance, tune-ups, and system inspections
Install HVAC units, thermostats, ductwork, and related components
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components of HVAC systems
Provide clear communication to customers regarding findings, recommendations, and repairs
Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent
Ensure all work meets local building codes and safety standards
Collaborate with office staff to schedule and complete service calls efficiently
Minimum 2–3 years of HVAC service and repair experience
EPA 608 certification required
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Strong understanding of HVAC diagnostics, tools, and equipment
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong customer service and communication skills
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in various indoor/outdoor environments
New York City refrigeration license or similar credentials
Experience with commercial HVAC systems
Electrical experience is a plus (not required)
