The HVAC Technician is responsible for the reliable installation, maintenance, and repair of the property’s heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning systems to ensure the facility operates safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory standards. This role plays a critical part in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and optimizing system performance across the property. Your technical expertise, ability to troubleshoot complex malfunctions, and commitment to maintaining stable climate control directly support the comfort of guests and Team Members and uphold the operational integrity of Live! Casino & Hotel. By ensuring all HVAC equipment functions at peak performance and resolving issues proactively, you help maintain a safe, comfortable, and dependable environment throughout the facility.

• Maintaining and repairing heating systems.
• Installation and maintenance of ventilators installation, repairing and maintenance of air conditioners.
• Identifying defects in components as well as wires and finding solutions to solve the defect.
• Testing electrical circuits for continuity.
• Ensuring that all the system compliance is as per plans and specifications.
• Ensuring that all the safety procedures are followed.
• Inspecting various electrical systems used for heating, cooling and ventilation.
• Reassembling required equipment in order to follow repairs.
• Complying with all the appliance standards.
• Locating local malfunctions.

Must-Haves:

• Minimum five (5) years of technical and trade experience
• Current Journeyman HVAC License 
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency. 

Physical Requirements:

• Sitting, standing, bending and walking.
• Lifting (Overhead, arm’s length, up to 25 lbs., assisted lifting may exceed 200 lbs.)
• Stretching and reaching.
• Pushing and pulling.
• Climbing

Working Conditions:

• 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.
• Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
