The HVAC Technician is responsible for providing general routine, preventive, corrective, and restorative maintenance of community grounds and property with a major emphasis in the fields of electrical and HVAC. Maintains a safe environment for residents, staff and visitors. 

Qualifications:
  • Current HVAC Recovery License, HVAC degree and Electrical certification required
  • Prior experience or technical training in maintenance required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to follow oral and written instruction
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Demonstrates a basic mechanical aptitude
Responsibilities and Expectations:
  • Repair and maintenance of the community HVAC, electrical and utility systems.
  • Repairs and maintains physical structure and systems.
  • Maintains the community grounds to include mowing lawns, trimming, snow removal, etc.
  • Completes work orders as assigned for corrective and restorative work with a focus on electrical and HVAC systems.
  • Participates in preventative maintenance schedule with a focus on electrical and HVAC systems.
  • Maintains safety systems within community (security, fire alarms, emergency call systems, access systems, nurse call systems, patient wandering systems).
