Project Controls Specialist

Job Description

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Project Controls Specialist for a position located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Project Controls Specialist will be responsible for creating and maintaining project lifecycle schedules across multiple renewable energy projects

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 10+ years of scheduling experience with large-scale projects.
  
Project Controls Specialist Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules for entire project lifecycles.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including large-scale capital projects.
• Collaborate with PMs and departments (land rights, permitting, engineering, supply chain) to gather updates.
• Ensure schedules reflect accurate progress and dependencies across entities.

Requirements of the Project Controls Specialist:     

• 10+ years of scheduling experience with large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 (P6 certification preferred).
• Hands-on experience creating, updating, and modifying schedules.
• Ability to manage multi-million to billion-dollar projects and complex scopes.
• Strong understanding of project management principles.
• Utility industry experience strongly preferred.
• Industrial or construction scheduling background is preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
